Volunteer Opportunities
NCCJ of Greater
New York, Inc. welcomes community volunteers to assist with the
preparation and delivery of our program services and special events.
Each year we work with hundreds of community volunteers to reach
thousands of New Yorkers. Whether they help raise funds or help
raise consciousness, they all have one thing in common; a commitment
to social justice and the desire to eliminate hatred and bigotry in
all its forms.
WHO
IS A NCCJ VOLUNTEER?
NCCJ volunteers are
individuals that have an interest in social justice and are committed to
exploring their own personal bias in order to break down barriers that
divide us across ethnic and cultural lines. NCCJ volunteers are willing to
address negative stereotypes and interrupt bias behavior. NCCJ volunteers
are life learners and are willing to open their minds to seek understanding.
